Board Members Present – Murali Sitaraman, Scott Templeton, Lee Crandall, Susan Zhang and Stephanie O’Brien
President Murali Sitaraman called the Board Meeting to order at 7:38pm. The meeting was held at the CW Clubhouse.
– Minutes from the January Board meeting were reviewed. Lee motioned to approve the minutes pending the approved revisions.
– Susan Zhang presented the 2011 Account Balances and Year-to-Date Income and Expenditures as of February 20, 2011. 116 homeowners have paid yearly dues as of Feb. 20th.
New Business-
– Budget for 2012-2013
-Scott and Susan will send the Board an updated budget.
– Landscape Maintenance
-Murali and Stephanie reported on their meeting with Jayme from Southern Dreamscapes.
– Kudzu will need to be addressed. Board agreed to get a bid for spraying the Kudzu with pesticide.
-A motion was made by Scott that would authorize Jayme to sod/mulch CW landscape as indicated in the February estimate. Seeding of the ditch along Berkley drive to be added. Board approved, no more than 10% over the estimate without reauthorization from Murali.
– Berkley Drive Cleanup
No update
-Trees will need to be added to this area by March/April
-Irrigation work may be necessary
– Landscape Committee
Stephanie updated the Board regarding the recent plans to finish the landscape of the CW entrance. Concerns and opinions were voiced regarding the plans. Board authorized the committee to continue with the already approved landscape plan. The committee will be given a $5,000.00 budget to complete the project.
– Pool/Clubhouse
– The CW pool will open for the 2012 Summer Season on May 18.
– Denise Burton will continue on maintaining the CW pool /clubhouse. Denise will be paid $900.00 monthly by CW. Lee will talk to Denise regarding the reappointment.
– 2012-2013 Country Walk Board
-Three people have volunteered to serve on the next board:
Art Wray, Regina Porter and Deborah Wendt.
-The CW Annual Meeting is tentatively scheduled for April 25 at 7pm.
President Murali Sitaraman adjourned the meeting at 10:00pm.
