Board Minutes for Country Walk Homeowner’s Association

January 29th 2014

Meeting was convened at the country walk club house at 6:30pm on January 29th 2014. Meeting was called to order by President Art Wray. Chris Post, Jerry Edwards, Rocco Cioffolett and Miren Ivankovic were present.

Minutes of October 16th 2013 Meeting were presented, discussed, Motion to approve made by Rocco, seconded by Jerry, all in favor.

Rocco provided treasury’s report and 2014 budget, we had A little over $72,000 in the bank at year end. Motion Made by Jerry to accept report, seconded by Chris, all in favor.

Discussion about mulching the subdivision took place Art had received a bid of $10,120 ( $46.00 x 220 yards) . All agreed that we needed to get bids from other vendors to verify if we should proceed with our landscaper to provide the mulch.  Chris and Jerry volunteered to get additional quotes for the next meeting.

Discussion about cost associated with fixing the pool, tennis courts and walking trail took place.

All members discussed the following:

Pool repairs needed:

After discussion Art made the motion to allocate $30,000 from the loan to update the pool, including tile work (13,000 to 17,000), painting (8,000 to 10,000) and new chlorination equipment (5,000 to 7,000). Final bids should be in within a month .Seconded by Rocco, All in favor.

Tennis Courts: Bids were submitted and JC Sports has been selected as our builder. He will do the work for $65,745.00, for 1 court with lights and a half court with hitting wall. The lights will be coin operated so there will not be any additional power costs to the subdivision. The ½ court will have a hitting Bakko hitting wall to allow people to practice without a partner. Each court will have electrical power outlets to handle a ball throwing machine. Motion made by Jerry, Seconded by Miren, all in favor.

Asphalt Driveways and parking lots: A bid from King asphalt was obtained for $8,100 dollars to repair and reseal the following areas; parking lots on both sides of the pool,. The parking lot across the street, the front drive (in front of the club house) Motion made by Jerry seconded by Miren all in favor.

Walking Trail: All members agreed that we are not able to take on updating the walking trails at this time.

Clubhouse steps and tile floor are in need of repair. All members agreed that we would get pricing hopefully by next meeting.
