05/23/07

  • Other than baby strollers and wheelchairs, and consistent with Schedule A, Article 8.2, of the subdivision covenants, no wheeled vehicles are permitted on the common areas.

06/12/07

  • Only the Board and the Website Committee Chair will have the ability to post to, or modify, the website.  The Website Committee Chair will be primarily responsible, followed by the Board Secretary.

07/02/07

  • Property owners should not speak directly with Country Walk contractors, but to Board members concerning related issues.

08/01/07

  • Only irrigated areas receive fire ant treatment.

09/02/07

  • Overnight parking is not permitted at the pool or Clubhouse unless otherwise authorized by the Board.
  • The Board will enforce restrictions explicitly listed in the Country Walk covenants.

10/07/07

  • Nonresidents are not to use subdivision amenities without being invited and in the presence of a resident.
  • Common areas are for the enjoyment of all, and no common land will be sold.

05/14/08

  • The Board will build and maintain a capital reserve equal to one year’s operating budget.

05/28/08

  • Country Walk Swim Team Policy
    • To ensure that the subdivision pool is primarily used by the residents, a ratio of residents to nonresidents must be at least 3 to 1.
    • At no time will a resident be denied access to swimming when the pool is open for usage.  The Swim Team will always leave one lane open for resident usage, and more if the need arises.
    • The Board appreciates the Swim Team’s request to use the pool during the less crowded hours of 8:00 to 9:15 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings.  These times are approved.  (The pool is chemically shocked every Tuesday evening, and is closed until Wednesday noon.)  It is also the Board’s understanding that there may be as many as two swim meets on Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 10:00. As soon as the specific dates are known, they should be reported to the Board for approval and subdivision notification.
    • To maintain control over the pool, open solicitation for swim team members is not permitted.  Friends of residents are acceptable.
    • The Swim Team is responsible for any damages.
    • As is standard policy with the pool, nonresidents must leave unless accompanied by a guest.
    • Each year, before the pool opens, the Board is to be notified whether a team is to be formed.  By the end of the second week of practice, a roster will be provided to the Board.  Prior to the closing of the pool, a final report will be made (added June 9, 2009).

05/04/09

  • Procedures for approving and submitting minutes.  The secretary will prepare the minutes and pass them via e-mail to the Board members for approval.  Once approved, the secretary will submit them to the president for placement on the Country Walk website.

06/09/09

  • The president will solicit a quarterly report from each committee.  The report from the Clubhouse will include a log that contains, for each rental, the name of the renter, residence, date, purpose, and the fee received.

07/08/09

  • Pool and Clubhouse furniture are not to leave the areas for which they were originally intended.

09/14/09

  • Consistent with the subdivision covenants, Country Walk common property is for the enjoyment of all residents.  As a result, and due to liability issues, no private property is permitted on common grounds.  In addition, and again due to liability issues, the planting of trees on common property will require written approval of the Board.
  • Because annual fees are used to maintain and operate the amenities, residents who are not current on their fees will not have privileges to use the amenities.

10/06/09

  • Due to liability issues and the subdivision’s nonprofit status, the Clubhouse will be rented exclusively to residents, and never for commercial purposes.
  • Due to the expense and perceived usage, the Board agreed that the pool should be closed every year on September 15.
